Annual Fund
Who Gives and Why
The University of Dallas' Annual Fund has been established to encourage and to recognize
the loyalty and support of alumni, parents, faculty, staff, friends, foundations
and corporations. Annual Fund gifts are primarily unrestricted which means that
the donor allows the University to determine how the money is used. These gifts
also relieve the burden on tuition and assist with UD's daily needs. The Annual
Fund stresses the importance of participation in giving. The stronger the University
of Dallas' Annual Fund, the better equipped the University is to provide an excellent
educational environment for students and to address its most urgent needs, such
as student scholarships, computer upgrades, building renovations, and faculty
support.

Matching Gifts
Matching gifts are company-donated contributions that match those made by employees
and their spouses. Many companies sponsor a matching gift program to encourage
employees to support their charitable organizations. This program enables many
donors to increase the impact of their contributions to the University of Dallas. Most companies match dollar for dollar, and some will double or triple match employee
gifts. Simply request a matching gift form from your Human Resources Department,
and send it, completed and signed.
Planned Giving
Planned Gifts may be designated to the Annual Fund. Careful planning will allow you to make a
larger charitable gift than you thought possible and leave a charitable legacy
for future generations.
Reunion Giving
Alumni have the opportunity to return to campus and to reunite with other class members
on five-year anniversaries of their graduations. In honor of these important
milestones, the University of Dallas' Annual Fund has established the Reunion Giving Program. Through Reunion Giving,
alumni can be both a part of the Annual Fund and can join in a special year-long
effort focused on increased participation. Show your class spirit by making an
extra effort to participate and to give in honor of your reunion!
