University of Dallas Style Guide

At the University of Dallas, any graphic or visual element used in any publication reflects the character and quality of the University. To help communicate these attributes to our many constituencies, it is important that we consistently use graphic and visual elements. The Department of Marketing and Communications has designed this style guide to provide you with the necessary tools to create consistency across all of our marketing and communications materials.
 
In this guide you will find information about:
  • Logos – Approved logos for use on internal and external documents in a variety of formats available for download
  • Wordmarks – Approved type-treatments for the name “University of Dallas” and use of the tagline “The Catholic University for Independent Thinkers”
  • Fonts & Colors – Approved font faces and colors for use in both printed and web-based publications
  • Writing Guide – An alphabetical listing of how to consistently capitalize, punctuate, and refer to words, names, and phrases associated with the University of Dallas, as well as the most often used portions of The Associated Press Stylebook
