What is One Disburse?

5 Step Easy Process

1.       Simply log into BannerWeb and update your address.

2.       Higher One will mail the Easy Refund Card to you. The card will come in a bright green envelope.  

3.       Once you receive the card, log on to EasyRefundCard.com and activate the card.

4.       During the activation process, you will select your refund preference: either Easy Refund or Direct Deposit (ACH transfer).  The debit card is required in order to set up either the Direct Deposit or the Easy Refund to the OneAccount.    

a.       Easy Refund to the OneAccount You will receive your refund money the same day it is released by the University.  By choosing this option, you will create a OneAccount--an FDIC Insured, no monthly fee, no minimum balance checking account. The Easy Refund Card becomes a Debit MasterCard® linked to the account.  This is the fastest way to receive your refund. 

b.      Direct Depoist (ACH Transfer) This choice allows you to have your refund direct deposited (ACH Transfer) to an existing bank account. The Direct Deposit (ACH Transfer) will take an additional two to three days to be accessed after the time the University releases your funds.   

A student choosing either option will need to store the card in a safe place.  The card will be needed again if a student wishes to update their password on the website or change their refund preference.  Do not destroy or discard the Easy Refund Card.   

5.       After your refund preference is selected, you will be ready to receive your refund when it is released by the University.

6.  Students who do not choose a refund preference (Easy Refund OneAccount or Direct Deposit), will receive a paper check within 25-27 days once the University has released the funds.   
Important Notes
  • All student who receive refunds from the University of Dallas will receive them through Higher One's Onedisburse program.  The printing of checks from the University will stop on December 15, 2010.  Students who do not choose a refund preference will receive a check from Higher One within 25 to 27 days after the University releases the funds.  

  • Parent Plus loans will continue to be mailed by check to parents from the UD Business Office.

  • If you choose the Easy Refund OneAccount, it will allow you to use the card for purchases.  Any student wishing to use the card for purchases should use the credit MasterCard option to prevent PIN Based Transaction Fees
