COMMENCEMENT SET-UP HELPERS...May 12th-16th, 2010

If you would like to apply to help set up for commencement 2010 click HERE. The job starts on Wednesday May 12th and ends Sunday May 16th. You must work both the 15th (Saturday) and 16th (Sunday); the job is physically labor intensive and 40 hours is authorized at $10.00 per hour. This position is not a summer worker position. Facilities Summer Student Employment

After undergraduate commencement, & through the months of June, July, & August the Facilities Department uses student employees to help with repairs & modifications to the campus. We offer a 30 hour work week, & allow a leave of up to 10 business days for those wishing time off. Click HERE to see the types of jobs we have available.

Who may qualify...

These are not financial-aid, work study positions. You do not need to qualify for a financial-aid award to apply.

  • Current & returning undergraduate students of the University of Dallas

  • Current & returning graduate level students of the University of Dallas

  • F1 international students of the University of Dallas
    Notice to F1 Students:
    F1 students who graduate in spring semester are not eligible to work unless they have an Employment Authorization Document issued through the Department of Homeland Security. Campus employment is only allowed to students who will be continuing classes in the fall.
    F1 student applicants will have their names submitted to the International Student Services Director for confirmation before they begin working.
    F1 students taking summer classes will work only 20 hours total per week for the duration of their classes.

If you have not previously been enrolled in the work study program you must first be cleared by the Office of Human Resources. This would assure that you have the required paperwork completed & on file.

On campus housing?

The Office of Student Life handles all requests for summer on-campus housing. Facilities does not secure or guarantee housing of any kind.
