The William A. Blakley Library is committed to helping students with their research needs while enrolled at the University of Dallas. The Library houses a large collection of books, periodicals, and special collections. As a student, you have access to more than 115 online databases, and over 84,000 online publications. The library's experienced staff can assist you with any of your research needs.

Subject Guides
Subject guides are developed by librarians to help with specific research needs by subject. These guides will help guide users to the most relevant information provided by the library, both print and online.
Interlibrary Loan
ILLiad - the interlibrary loan system, allows students to request materials that are not owned by the Blakley Library. Submit a simple form, and the material will be delivered within 5-10 business days.
Online Reserves
Online supplemental class readings. Usernames and passwords are required. See your professor for online reserve information.
Ask a Reference Question
Submit an online reference question. Questions are usually answered within 24 hours, according to the library hours.
Database Tutorials
These short tutorials will guide you through the basics of searching. They also include instructions on searching different databases that are available through the Blakley Library.
Citation Style Guides
These guides will help you with citation styles, including APA, MLA, Chicago, and Turabian styles of citations.
