Certified Professional in Learning and Development
The University of Dallas' Center for Professional Development has partnered with the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) to offer a preparatory class for the Certified Professional in Learning and Development (CPLP) examination.
This program uses the ASTD Learning System as its core course materials. These materials can be purchased directly from ASTD or through our program when you register for the class. To purchase from ASTD click here.

Attention US Veterans!
ASTD Certification Institute's CPLP Certification has received approval from the Virginia Department of Veterans Services State Approving Agency. Eligible US veterans worldwide are able to receive reimbursement for successful completion of the CPLP. Forms can be found at www.gibill.va.gov/pamphlets/lcweb.htm.
Class Information
Body of Knowledge:
This eight week course covers the Body of Knowledge required to pass the written portion of the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) certification exam. The course is taught by a CPLP certified instructor who is an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Dallas.

Work Product Workshop:
This one day course helps students prepare their work product for submission. The course is taught by a CPLP certified instructor who is an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Dallas.
