Top Ten Reasons Why Projects Fail and the Top Ten Ways to Counteract Failure

This discussion will focus on the Top Ten Reasons that Projects experience Failure - and how to counteract these elements.  Sometimes, no matter what the project manager tries to do, the project is destined for failure.  Why would that be?  Because sometimes the organization overwhelms the project with unreasonable scope, schedule or resource demands that doom the project.

This talk will discusss current findings about project failure gathered from customer experiences.   Then we will discuss how to counteract these potentials for failure with proven techniques based on common best practices for project management to facilitate project success.

This discussion will help people new to project management, those people who want to learn more about project management or persons who are performing project management who want to head a current view and discussion about project management.
