Our Master of Science is a 33 credit hour track ideal for students who are seeking in-depth knowledge in Accounting, Information Assurance or Information Technology.

Since our founding in 1966, the Graduate School of Managment has been committed to creating programs with working professionals in mind. Our flexible class schedules and convenient delivery options make it easier for busy students to get a high quality, hands-on learning experience through the guidance of industry-experienced professors. 

Curriculum
The Master of Science track is a 33 credit hour program that can be completed in as few as four terms. Because of the individual nature of the program, students can take classes at their own pace so actual completion time will vary by student.

  • Information Technology
Depending on your academic background, you may be required to complete prerequisite Foundational Knowledge courses prior to beginning your program. Your advisor can give you more information on your program requirements based on your academic background.

Course Options
The Graduate School of Management uses a trimester system, with fall, spring and summer terms. With year-round classes and multiple starting points each term, students can choose from 12 week, 6 week, intensives or intermester classes.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for consideration of graduate admissions:
 
1.    You should have earned a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited college or university (or a comparable foreign degree) with a minimum GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale.
2.    You should have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale in any graduate credit hours you have earned (if any).
3.    You should be in good academic and financial standing with all colleges and universities you have attended.
 
If you meet the eligibility requirements above, admission to the Master of Science program is based on an evaluation of your personal and academic background. To earn admission to this program, you must meet at least two of the five criteria listed below:
  • Do you have a U.S. master’s degree from a regionally-accredited college or university?
  • Do you have a 3.00+ (on 4.00 scale) GPA in the last 60 credit hours of your undergraduate degree program?
  • Do you have a 500+ GMAT score or equivalent GRE score? (GMAT/GRE is optional and not required for admission)
  • If you have completed graduate coursework but not been awarded a masters degree, do you have a 3.20+ (on 4.00 scale) GPA in any graduate coursework you have completed?
  • Do you have four or more years of managerial, professional or executive experience?
If you meet only one criteria or have questions regarding whether or not you meet two criteria, or if you have a University of Dallas Graduate Certificate or are reapplying for admission, please contact an advisor to discuss your options.

In addition to the online application, you will need to provide: Additional requirements for Non-US Citizens:

  • Valid official TOEFL (80 IBT minimum ) or IELTS (6.0 minimum) score (contact an advisor to see if you qualify for an exemption)
  • Diploma Supplement (Bologna-compliant degree holders only)
    • Proof of non-immigrant status - I-94 (if currently residing in U.S.)
  • Copy of the front of Permanent Resident Card (if applicable or, if you have filed the I-485 for a green card, provide a copy of the USCIS Receipt Notice)
  • Additional Documents for F-1 Visa holders* (eligible to apply for Master of Science in Accounting only):
* F-1 Visa holders are not eligible for the Master of Science in Information Assurance or Information Technology due to the online course requirements. F-1 Visa holders may, however, qualify for the MS-MBA Dual Degree. Consult an advisor to discuss your options.

Application Deadlines:

The University of Dallas uses a rolling admission process (applications are reviewed for admission once all required documents have been submitted). Recommended application deadlines are:

U.S. Applicants
A minimum of two weeks prior to the term start date.

International Applicants (Visa holders or Permanent Residents with international degrees)
A minimum of two months prior to the term start date (F-1 Visa holders must start at the beginning of the term).
