After the New Testament
This new 30 week course being offered by the School of Ministry, surveys the writers whose ideas prepared the way for the liturgical practices and doctrinal teachings that became the foundation of Christianity. For many people, this is an obscure period in the life of the Church. "After the New Testament" provides an opportunity for students to discover the rich and varied ideas of this time by reading the first hand accounts of people who lived through these early centuries. What is found there will remind us that our predecessors in faith were people of passion and vision. And it will challenge us to live and understand our faith in our own time as they did in theirs.
