Personal
A native of Hungary, Fr. Roch Kereszty specializes in both Patristic and Medieval Theology and Systematic Theology.  His dissertation was entitled "Wisdom in the Spiritual Theology of St. Bernard."  He taught full time at the University of Dallas in the 1960s; in 1970, he was appointed to the chairman of the Theology department at the Cistercial Preparatory School in Irving, Texas, and in 1975, he was appointed novice master for the abbey.  He is on the editorial board of Communio, and, along with William R. Farmer and Dvid L. Balas, O.Cist., he spearheaded the Eucharistic Conference hosted by the University of Dallas, November 2000 and edited the proceedings of the conference for publication in 2002.  This fall his new book on the Eucharist will be published with the title: The Wedding Feast of the Lamb.  Eucharistic Theology from a Biblical, Historical, and Systematic Perspective.
