Methods of Applying

Downloading, completing, then mailing the application is a very popular way to apply to the university. After downloading the application, fill out the information, then send it to UD via the mail.

- Apply using the Common Application
UD welcomes the paper version and the electronic version of the Common Application. The Common Application is a standard application used by 255 selective colleges and universities for admission to undergraduate programs. Equal consideration is given to all applicants who choose to complete this form. Please note that you'll also need to to fill out the
Common Application Supplemental Form.
- Apply using the Texas Common Application
We now accept the State of Texas Common Application for freshman, transfer, and international applicants.
UD prefers electronic submission of the Texas Common Application, but we will accept the paper application which should be available from any high school or community college in Texas.
Should you choose to use the paper version, you must also submit the Texas Common Application Supplement.
- Apply Online using the Texas Mentor application
NOTE: The link above is a NEW link. If you were filling out an application online previous to Nov. 1, 2003, your online application is at the Texas Mentor site.
If you submit an application for admission during a pre-scheduled campus visit, arranged through the Office of Admission and Financial Aid, we will waive your $40 application fee.
International Students
International applicants will also need the Confirmation of Financial Resources and the Educational History Forms, which are available in Acrobat Reader form.
Note:
The University of Dallas offers a very flexible application process. However, if you wish to apply for academic awards or need based financial aid, it is necessary to follow the early application deadlines.
