The Phi Theta Kappa Award
- Amount: Half tuition
- Eligibility: Transfer Students
Deadline: December 1 for Spring, July 1 for Fall
The Phi Theta Kappa Award is given to members of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society who:
- Transfer from a two-year institution;
- Have completed a minimum of thirty credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 3.5; and
- Submit a letter of recommendation from their PTK advisor.
Students who meet these requirements are guaranteed a half- tuition achievement award.
To Apply:
Students must submit a letter of recommendation from their chapter advisor in addition to their admission application in order to be eligible for the award. Applications must be submitted by December 1 to be considered for the Spring semester, or by July 1 to be considered for the Fall.
The PTK Scholarship requires official documentation of PTK membership and 30 or more community college credit hours earned after high school graduation.
