Hometown: Pflugerville, Texas

Alma Mater: University of Dallas, 2012

Degree: B.A. Politics

Why I love UD/Why I Recruit for UD: I love UD because the students are passionate about their education. That passion is witnessed by an active community on campus that you will grow to love. With the student body united in the Core curriculum, the feeling of togetherness and family becomes solidified in Rome as you and your friends go on new adventures all across Europe. With all the opportunities to work in DFW, the friendly student body and the life-changing experiences that await you, the University of Dallas is can't miss!

Favorite Spot on Campus: The Cap Bar

Where Do You Hang Out in Dallas? You can find me at dance halls around Dallas because I love to go out country two-stepping!

Favorite Book: This is a difficult one considering that as a Politics major, I got to read amazing works by some of the most influential thinkers of all time. However, for me, Plutarch's Lives never get old.

Favorite Place to Eat in DFW: The Toulouse Café and Bar nestled in Highland Park is a true Parisian treat in the Metroplex.

Favorite UD Event: There is a very close tie between Groundhog and Charity Week. Both events have large student participation which is great to see the school come together.

Favorite/Coolest Place I have Visited: Putting Rome on a separate pedestal, the coolest place I've visited has to be London, England.

Advice to Prospective Students: I would say that the best avenue for students is to be active and engaged in their college search. Talk with your admission counselor (of course), but especially with current students and professors when you visit campus! That way you get a feel for the school on the everyday level and you can imagine what the college life will be like.
