Eligible high school seniors and transfer students may apply for scholarships ranging from $1,000 per year to full tuition. Awards ranging from $10,000 -$30,000 per year may be offered to selected applicants based on high school GPA and SAT/ACT scores. Full tuition scholarships available for National Merit Finalists. The student's application for admission serves as the student's application for an Academic Achievement Scholarship. No additional application is necessary. This distinguished departmental recognition can be added to any academic scholarship and is renewable for up to eight semesters. Although many applicants may be qualified in multiple subject areas, each student may only apply for one award. The application deadline is January 15, and the deadline to interview (required for most departments) is February 1.
The National Achievement Scholarship, in the amount of $2,500 per year, is offered to the top high school senior scorers on the PSAT who mark Section 14 on the PSAT/NMSQT answer sheet, thereby identifying himself or herself as Black American. This award can be used in addition to an Academic Achievement Scholarship, but when combined cannot exceed the cost of tuition. The National Achievement Scholarship can be used for eight consecutive semesters. Students must submit an application for admission by March 1st to be eligible for the award. Additionally, a copy of the letter or certificate officially declaring National Achievement status must be provided to the Office of Financial Aid.
The National Hispanic Scholars Scholarship, in the amount of $2,000 per year, is offered to the top high school senior Hispanic scorers on the PSAT who have earned a 3.0 or higher grade point average. This award can be used in addition to an Academic Achievement Scholarship, but when combined cannot exceed the cost of tuition. The National Hispanic Scholars Scholarship can be used for eight consecutive semesters. Students must submit an application for admission by March 1st to be eligible for the award. Additionally, a copy of the letter or certificate officially declaring National Hispanic Scholar status must be provided to the Office of Financial Aid.
Up to 20 National Merit Finalists will receive full tuition scholarships. Finalists who wish to be considered for this scholarship should name UD as their first choice school with the National Merit Corporation by March 1. In the event that scholarships are still available after that date, students will be able to select UD as their first choice institution and be considered for the scholarship after that date. This scholarship is inclusive of all other scholarships and grants offered through UD and is based on the competitiveness of the applicant pool. This scholarship is renewable annually.

High school seniors awarded a scholarship by a parish in any Catholic diocese are eligible for this matching program at University of Dallas. The university will match parish gifts up to, but not exceeding, $2,000 per academic year for a total of eight semesters.
Eligibility: High School Seniors from select DFW Catholic High Schools
High school seniors from the following Catholic high schools are eligible to apply: Bishop Dunne, Bishop Lynch, Cistercian, Nolan Catholic, John Paul II, The Highlands School and Jesuit College Preparatory School.
