Paper in Space opens Friday February 3 and will remain on view until March 18, 2012. An opening reception for the artists is free to the public Friday February 3, 6:30-8:30 pm. The Haggerty Gallery is located in the Art History Building of the Haggerty Arts Village on the University of Dallas campus.

In his seminar, Dr. Drace will describe the relationship between mercury disposal and the occurrence of mercury-resistant bacteria, as well as the downstream effect of mercury bioaccumulation in the environment. In addition, he will discuss how this work has complemented mission work at Mercer to identify and alleviate mercury contamination among miners and local communities in Mozambique.
