Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
A process of conversion for those wishing to explore the Catholic faith meets each Monday night from 7 - 9 pm during the academic year in Gorman Faculty Lounge.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 11:30 am and 1:00 - 4:30 pm.

Welcome troops

DAILY More than 100 troops come through DFW airport on their way home for two weeks of rest and recuperation. One flight lands every day at DFW. A daily welcome party is held to welcome them home, and anyone is welcome to participate.

Be Alert

There have been several reports made that cash, purses, book bags, computers, etc. have been missing, possibly taken by someone other than their owners. Be alert at all times of your belongings.

Bishop-Elect Michael Duca

Bishop Duca will be installed as Bishop of Shreveport, LA on Monday, May 19, at 12 Noon, in the Shreveport Convention Center. He remains in our prayers.

The School of Ministry Summer in Rome 2008

Will offer students the opportunity to earn up to nine graduate credit hours while spending up to five weeks on the University of Dallas' Rome campus. The campus is called Due Santi. Courses are open to all. About 40% of the class time is spent on "field trips" in Rome. During the evenings and on weekends, you may experience Rome and the surrounding area on your own.

Updates

Fr. Tony Densmore will become Rector of the Church of the Incarnation on July 1.

Fr. J.D. Logan, O.P. will be around at least through June, and will inform all of his next ministry.

Fr. Philip Powell, O.P. will teach summer courses at UD and will leave for Gradutate Studies in Rome in July.

Fr. Michael Olson of the Fr. Worth Diocese will assume the responsibility of Rector of Holy Trinity Seminary on July 1.

Dominican Assembly

The Dominican Friars of the Southern Dominican Province will gather for their Annual General Assembly in Navasota, TX, May 26-29. Please keep them in your prayers.

GRADUATION CHURCH SCHEDULE

Saturday, May 17, 6:00 PM Baccalaureate Mass in Maher Athletic Center. Fort Worth Bishop Vann Presiding. NOTE: There will be NO CHURCH 5:00 PM MASS this day.

Sunday, May 18, 9:00 AM Annual Commencement on the University Mall. NOTE: There WILL be a 9:00 AM Mass in the Church. This will be the ONLY mass this Sunday. Traffic and parking is expected to be heavy.

SUMMER MASS SCHEDULE CHANGES

THERE WILL BE NO SUNDAY 7:30 PM MASS. LAST MASS IS SUNDAY MAY 11.

THERE WILL BE NO DAILY 5:00 PM MASS. LAST MASS IS FRIDAY, MAY 16.

THESE MASSES WILL RESUME WHEN THE ACADEMIC YEAR STARTS IN THE FALL.
