Serra Club on the UD campus
The Serra Club of the University of Dallas, one of the five clubs in District 46E, meets on the campus of the University of Dallas, located at 1845 E. Northgate Drive, Irving, Texas. The club was formed in 1988. A number of staff and faculty, including then President Robert Sasseen, along with men and women from the local business community served as organizers. The club continues to enjoy the hospitality of the university, although the club is not officially a part of the university.
U.D. Serra Club meetings are held on the first and third Fridays of every month. If the university is closed for inclement weather, there is no Serra club meeting. Holy Mass is celebrated in the Church of the Incarnation at 7:00 a.m., followed by a business/breakfast meeting which ends at 8:30.
The U. D. Serra Club president for the 2008-2009 year is Ms. Mary Hennigan. Catholics interested in aiding the work of promoting and encouraging vocations to the priesthood and religious life are cordially invited to visit one of the regular meetings.
Members of the University of Dallas community - students, faculty and staff - are invited to join us for our 7:00 a.m. Mass on the first and third Fridays of each month. Please see the schedule below for details.
