Career Portfolios

Creating a career portfolio can be a great addition to your job search. A portfolio such as this contains the usual resume, certificates, degrees, etc., but also shows off samples of your work. Even if you haven't already worked in your career field, you can create samples of what you can do. This impresses an employer, both for your initiative and the ability to convince him or her that you can do the job.
