Professional Development and On-Site Training

Continuous learning is crucial in today's forward thinking organizations and is a valuable investment for future success. To accommodate the professional development needs of the business community, Graduate School of Management's Center for Professional Development (CPD) offers one-day, evening, and trimester-long seminars around the Metroplex. (Many of these courses help prepare students for professional certification or can be counted as contact hours to maintain certification.) Topics include Change Management, Team Building, Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, Marketing Strategies, and Personal Financial Education.

While professional development courses are offered to the general public, CPD can customize on-site training to accommodate the specific needs of an organization. The relevant focus and expert instruction provide a distinct advantage over many learning sessions on the market today.

Consulting and Research Projects

Our graduating capstone classes, as well as our marketing classes, actively seek out consulting and research projects from companies and entrepreneurs for use as classroom projects. Students conduct full-scale real-world projects by applying what they have learned to the benefit of clients who receive low-cost customized work of high quality. Our research and strategy consulting teams have completed hundreds of classroom-based projects for more than 600 clients over the past 20 years. MBA Completion Program

In a world of increasing mobility, many professionals have started their degree only to have their studies interrupted by relocation.
