Who can use UD's Career Services?

All UD undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumni.

What services and resources does Career Services provide?

For all students and alumni, Career Services provides career counseling, workshops, job postings, a resume book, on-campus recruiting, career fairs, a mentoring program, a career library, and networking events. Students and alumni may schedule career counseling appointments to have their resumes critiqued or discuss career options. To stay up-to-date with job postings and events, students and alumni also receive an electronic newsletter every month. For employers, Career Services provides online job posting, career fairs, a resume book, on-campus recruiting, and campus presentations. Employers also receive an electronic newsletter every quarter. What sorts of events does Career Services host?

Career Services hosts various workshops, on-campus interviews, career fairs, and networking events throughout the year. Go to Career Events. Go to Past Career Fairs.

Does Career Services assist with placement?

Career Services provides job leads that the students and alumni must then follow up on. These leads come in the form of job postings, internships, career fairs, on-campus interview opportunities, and referrals. Does Career Services help international students?

Career Services recognizes the issues facing international students in their job search. One-on-one counseling is provided for resume critique, career path discussion, and visa issues. International students are allowed to work off-campus part-time during their programs through Curricular Practical Training (CPT) / Internships. Also, Career Services participates in an annual international student career expo held in Orlando every year. 2nd year international students may submit their resumes and attend the event upon interview preselection.
