This program is registered with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. to provide the education requirements for professionals working to obtain the Certified Financial Planner certification. This program satisfies the education requirement to sit for the CFP Certification Examination.
Why this program:
The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional Certificate Program at University of Dallas is registered with Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. As a CFP Board-Registered Program, our courses satisfy the Board's education requirement, allowing an individual to sit for the CFP Certification Examination. The Program curriculum delivers information about areas critical to financial planning for both beginning and established practitioners.
The program curriculum consists of six required courses and one Capstone review course that delivers information about areas in financial planning for both beginning and established practitioners.
Required courses in UD's Certificate Program that satisfy CFP Board education requirement, qualifying individual to sit for the CFP Certification Examination:
UD does not certify individuals to use the CFP or Certified Financial Planner marks. CFP certification is granted solely by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to individuals who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met ethics, experience and examination requirements.
