The ideal DBA candidate will possess significant and substantive managerial experience and a master's degree from a recognized, regionally-accredited institution. Applicants must have demonstrated written and verbal communications skills and will be required to attend a DBA Preview Day as well as a personal interview as part of the application process.

1. Why do you want to pursue a DBA at the University of Dallas?
2. What are your career aspirations after receiving your doctorate?
3. What obstacles or challenges might hinder your ability to complete the UD DBA program within the three-year program period? How would you address these?
4. What specific aspects of a business opportunity or problem might you be interested in investigating through an applied research project? Provide 2-3 items (articles; links from the web) that are representative of the issues in which you are interested.
☐ Letters of recommendation from two professionals in academia or industry, with an original signature.
International applicants (visa holders) will need to submit a valid English-proficiency score of 105+ on the TOEFL exam if they have not earned a degree from a regionally-accredited U.S. institution.

Candidates who are selected to move forward in the admission process will be invited in early spring to the DBA Preview Day and subsequently to personal interviews before a final admission decision is rendered.
Selection Process and Important Dates
Applicants will be reviewed and notified of their admission eligibility in accordance with the following dates:
Jan. 15, 2016: DBA online application deadline.
Feb. 25-29, 2016: Invitations issued for DBA Preview Day (required).
March 5, 2016: DBA Preview Day (required). Please do not apply for admission if you cannot physically attend DBA Preview Day.
Applicants should be prepared to pay a nonrefundable $200 registration fee. Laptops are required and will not be provided.
March 25-28, 2016: Invitation to attend, and scheduling of, personal interview.
April 4-15, 2016: Personal interviews held in person or via Skype at designated day/time.
April 25-29, 2016: Applicants notified of admission outcome via USPS.
May 13, 2016: Deposit for 2016 DBA cohort due ($2,000); nonrefundable but applied to first-term tuition charges.
June 1, 2016: Online pre-DBA course opens; required prior to fall cohort start.
June 3-4, 2016: Orientation/Residency Weekend; required.
July 19, 2016: Online pre-DBA course ends; delivery of fall term textbooks.
Aug. 19-20, 2016: Fall 2016 Residency Weekend #1.
