William Frank, professor of philosophy, has taught at the University of Dallas since fall 1986. Among his special interests and competencies he counts the history of medieval philosophy, Duns Scotus, metaphysics, the philosophy of education, and contemporary Catholic philosophy.

Philipp Rosemann has been at the University of Dallas since 1997. In recent years, his main interests have revolved mainly around the twelfth-century theologian Peter Lombard and his famous Book of Sentences; the book series he edits, Dallas Medieval Texts and Translations; and the task of rethinking the Christian tradition in light of the challenges of contemporary philosophy.

Frank Scalambrino, after years of work in non-profit mental health services, received his doctorate from Duquesne. He specializes in the philosophy of psychology. His current research includes an examination into the theoretical choice points between the philosophical systems of St. Thomas Aquinas and Immanuel Kant.

Lance Simmons is interested in ethics, epistemology, and analytic philosophy. He received his Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his A.B. from the University of California at Berkeley. He is intrigued by possible connections between virtue ethics and epistemology.

Matthew Walz joined the Department of Philosophy in 2008. Previously he taught at Thomas Aquinas College in California and The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He received a B.A. in both Philosophy and Theology from Christendom College in Virginia in 1995, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the Catholic University of America. He also serves as Director of Philosophy & Letters and Pre-Theologian Programs.
