Dr. Sally Hicks received her Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in Nuclear Physics. Her research interests include elastic and inelastic neutron scattering and nuclear structure, for which she has received multiple grants from the Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation.

Dr. Richard Olenick received his Ph.D. from Purdue University. He has received numerous awards including the Carnegie Foundations Texas Professor of the Year, the Minnie Piper Stephens award, and was awarded a Haggerty Teaching Fellowship in 2010.
