Campus Residence Closings

Residence Halls and Apartments

Current campus residents are required to formally check-out of hall rooms and apartments by 10 a.m. on Friday, May 18th. This includes the return of all keys issued to residents. The only exceptions to the closing time are the following:
* Mayterm class registration and request for housing.
* Seniors who are graduating.
* Students authorized to stay in support of graduation services.
Current hall residents may click below to request approval for late departure at the end of the spring term.

As part of the commencement celebration, the University will hold a Baccalaureate Mass on May 17 at 6 p.m. in the Maher Athletic Center.

President's Gala

7:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Haggar University Center

The President's Gala, honoring graduates and faculty, will be held on May 17 from 7:30-10:30 p.m. in the Haggar University Center and veranda.

The menu will include carving stations, heavy hors d'oeuvres, desserts, Cappuccino Bar beverages, and nonalcoholic punch. A cash bar will also be available. Entertainment will be provided by a family dance band.

Graduating seniors may attend the President's Gala free of change but MUST pick up a free ticket from the Office of Advancement (Carpenter Hall, Room 250) by Thursday, May 15. Contact Norma Fernandez at (972) 721-5134 or nfernand@udallas.edu with any questions.

University of Dallas students will receive bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees on Sunday, May 18, during the 2008 spring commencement ceremony for the undergraduate Constantin College of Liberal Arts, undergraduate College of Business and Braniff Graduate School of Liberal Arts.

The ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. on the University of Dallas Mall, 1845 E. Northgate Drive, in Irving. Rain site will be the Maher Athletic Center, 2900 Gorman Drive, on the University campus.
