>> Transfer Student Checklist

If you are considering transferring to the University of Dallas, you may find our Academic Advising sheet to be helpful during this process. This sheet should act as a guide in determining which credits will transfer. It will also assist you in deciding which courses to take while in the transfer transition. All credits are subject to the approval of the Academic Dean.

These are the steps you will need to take in order to apply to the University of Dallas.

  • Apply to UD via the Common App.
  • Submit an essay with the application.
  • Fill out the University of Dallas supplement.
  • Look over the Academic Advising sheet to see what courses/credits will/will not transfer.
  • Have an instructor fill out the instructor evaluation form. Only one evaluation is needed, preferably from a core/major instructor.
  • Pay the $40 application fee or submit a fee waiver.
  •  Have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
  •  Submit official college transcripts for each institution attended.
  • If you have less than 30 hours of college credit, we will need a final official high school transcript and official ACT or SAT test scores.
