Why I love UD: UD is so special to me because it has done more for me throughout my college career than I can reciprocate in a lifetime! It has broadened my horizons in ways I never thought imaginable. Because we study the liberal arts so deeply, I learned to indulge in the Great Books and classical thought rather than just rely on my high school knowledge and focus only on a career goal. Here, I was able to continue my replationship with God and strengthen it, not only by my own accord, but by the encouragement and example of my friends. Both the years I spent and the friendships I formed at the University of Dallas will always be among the best and most memorable.

Moreover, I saw the world! Since I was able to travel with my best friends during my Rome semester, I was exposed to the Western tradition and my Catholic faith in its richest form, and it was nothing less than transformative! Because of UD I realized that I love travel and everything it entails--cultures, languages, people, and adventure. That new revelation, plus everything else I gained at UD, took my life in a whole new direction I never dreamed it would take! Why do I love UD? It transformed me into the best person I could be by nourishing my intellect, spirituality, friendships, and ambitions.
