• Amount: $1,000-$3,000
  
• Eligibility: High School Seniors and Transfer students

• Apply for admission to the university,
  
  
• Submit ONE of the following:
  • A CD with no more than 20 digital images (72 dpi resolution, largest dimension should be a maximum om 1000 pixels).  Please also include a list of images as a .doc file, including thumbnail of image, title, date, size, and medium description.
  • A short essay (400-600 words) analyzing a work of art, preferably one viewed in person.  Please include an image of the chosen work with your essay.

• While it is not required for this award, applicants wishing to meet with a member of the Art faculty should arrange an interview by signing up to visit the University of Dallas.
  
  
• Complete the Special Award Program Application and submit it at least two weeks prior to your campus visit and interview. Please be sure to mark the envelope or email "Special Award Program Application."

This scholarship is renewable annually for four consecutive school years, dependent upon your academic performance and the criteria stated below.

• Maintain full-time academic status each semester by earning at least twelve UD credit hours per fall and spring semester and earning at least twenty-seven UD credit hours per annual review period.
  
  
• Demonstrate a cumulative UD G.P.A. (grade point average) of at least 3.000 on the annual review date.
  
  
• Enroll in and successfully complete any studio or art history course each semester.
