What can I do on a Personalized Visit?
- Discuss UD admissions with an Admission Counselor
- Take a student-guided tour of the campus
- Attend actual UD classes in an area of interest
- Meet one-on-one with a faculty member in a chosen area of study
- Share a meal with a Student Ambassador in our dining facility
- Discuss Athletics with the UD coaching staff
- Meet with current students in a selected area of interest
- Have the opportunity to take part in the University's spiritual life
- Compete for one of theSpecial Award Program scholarships
(open only to high school seniors who have applied for admission and completed scholarship requirements)
- Sample residence hall life
- Gain a true sense of what UD is really like
Scheduling a Personalized Visit
Personal Visits are available weekdays year-round by appointment between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM. Please allow two weeks for us to schedule your visit. You can register for a personalized visit by selecting a date on our visit calendar and filling out the registration form. Overnight visits are offered Sunday through Thursday evening during our regular academic year for high school seniors only. For additional information on overnight visits, click here.
If you need to visit in fewer than two weeks, please register online and then call 1-800-628-6999. Please be advised that visits scheduled with less than a two-week notice may not allow visitors the chance to take advantage of all of the opportunities noted above. When completing the registration, please note your arrival and departure times.
The Office of Undergraduate Admission & Financial Aid closes at 1pm on Fridays from May-August. |
