Personalized Visits

Apply within 2 weeks of your fall visit (Sept 1 - Dec 1) and get your application fee waived!

Whether you live a half-hour away from UD or halfway around the world, an overnight visit in our residence halls will allow you to experience much more accurate depiction of UD life than just a regular daytime visit.

Our Campus Visit Coordinator will match you with a student host who will show you around campus, introduce you to other UDers, bring you to activities, and allow you to participate in regular campus life.

What can I do on a Personalized Visit?

  • Discuss UD admissions with an admission counselor
  • Take a student-guided tour of the campus
  • Attend actual UD classes of your choice
  • Meet one-on-one with a faculty member in a chosen area of study
  • Share a meal with a Student Ambassador in our dining facility
  • Discuss athletics with the UD coaching staff
  • Meet with current students in a selected area of interest
  • Have the opportunity to partake in the University's spiritual life
  • Compete for one of the Special Award Program scholarships
(open only to high school seniors who have applied for admission and completed scholarship requirements)
  • Sample residence hall life
  • Get a true sense about what UD is really like
