University of Dallas CPA Exam Review Course

The University of Dallas MBA in Accounting is designed for three groups of managers.
1. The non-accountant manager who is challenged with accounting issues - this MBA concentration provides a strong core of management knowledge and tools complemented by an in depth background in accounting principles and skills.
2. The CPA, who already possesses the technical skills of accounting, but desires to expand his or her managerial skills and add additional areas of accounting knowledge.
3. Managers who intend to eventually take the CPA exam. This concentration can provide added value through the accounting coursework earned while completing the MBA degree.
The University of Dallas is recognized as a degree-granting institution by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.

To receive the MBA concentration in Accounting designation on their transcript, students must complete ACCT 5325, ACCT 5326, and 2 additional accounting electives. *denotes courses with prerequisites
ACCT 5325 Intermediate Financial Accounting I* ACCT 5326 Intermediate Financial Accounting II* ACCT 5330 Introduction to Taxation* - students who too FINA 6365 prior to Spring 2007 may not take ACCT 5330 ACCT 5340 Business Law for Accounting - Not a TSBPA- approved accounting course. ACCT 5350 Accounting Information Systems* ACCT 5360 Auditing* ACCT 6325 Intermediate Managerial Accounting* ACCT 6330 Financial Statement Analysis* ACCT 6340 Corporate Tax* ACCT 6365 Tax Planning ACCT 6370 Planning and Control of Services* ACCT 7340 Advanced Accounting* ACCT 7360 Estates and Trusts BUAD 6390 Business Ethics OPER 6370 Project Management - not a TSBPA-approved accounting course.
