Instructors - Dr. Blake Frank & Dr. Ruth May

You are invited to join Dr. Blake Frank and Dr. Ruth May for a summer adventure in tropical Costa Rica. See why this dynamic developing country is the focal point for international trade in Central America. We will be based in San Jose and visit a number of domestic and multi-national firms which are enjoying the benefits of operating inside the Central American Free Trade Area via CAFTA. You will see first hand why eco-tourism is booming in this tropical paradise with visits to the Arenal Volcano and National Park and La Paz Waterfalls. Those who choose to add the optional stay at the end of the week at additional cost can enjoy two days and nights in a tent colony in Jungle Almedros, which includes aerial canopy rides through the tops of trees in the rain forest.
