Business Partnership
What are your peers doing to improve their Sustainability & Ethics initiatives? What real-world and actionable solutions can you effectively implement? What benefits are others seeing - both financial and non-financial?
The Business Partnership includes companies and organizations interested in successfully managing for sustainability and ethics, or managing with your grandchildren in mind.'
Representatives of the partner organizations will not only share current practices, but also hear from leading companies' best practices, as well as hearing from recognized scholars who provide a broader perspective and significant depth on particular issues.
Partnership Activities include:
Quarterly Seminars: One & Two day events to benchmark practices, hear best practices, evaluate current and upcoming issues, review current research and identify future research interest areas. Research and Studies: Access to ongoing Center research as well as participating in studies to address issues of critical importance to members. Corporate Sustainability Knowledgebase: Full and unlimited access to the best practices database. Many Others: Sponsored conferences, presentation to your CEO/Board, faculty/staff access, etc.
There is a sufficient weight of empirical evidence to suggest that building (sustainable) activities into the heart of business strategy leads to higher productivity and profitability.
Financial Director Magazine, July/Aug 05
Social (and ethical) issues are not so much tangential to the business of business as fundamental to it&.and operate as early indicators of factors core to corporate profitability &.most stock market value - typically over 80% - depends on expectations of companies' cash flow beyond the next three years. Ian Davis, McKinsey & Co., The Economist, May 2005
