AFP INTENSIVE

  • Description:
    The AFP Learning System: Treasury Instructor Led Course is a classroom-based learning experience developed by the Association for Financial Professionals. It is designed for two distinct audiences: Individuals who want to broaden their knowledge and skills in the area of treasury and cash management to ensure timely provisions of a company's cash resource necessary for sustaining ongoing activities; and financial professionals who want to successfully prepare for AFP's CTP exam.

    Topics:
    The AFP Learning System, Instructor-Led course comprehensively covers seven (7) modules:

  • Cash Management in the U.S. Financial Environment

  • Accounting Principles and Financial Analysis Concepts

  • The Payments System and Funds Outflow Management

  • Funds Inflow Management

  • Investments and Loans Management

  • International Treasury and Financial Risk Management

  • Technologies and Bank Relationships Management


  • Course Instructor:
    David Higgins, Ph.D., CTP, is director of the Corporate Finance MBA program at the University of Dallas. He teaches courses in liquidity management, financial forecasting, financial strategy, and valuation. Dr. Higgins is an active member of the Association for Financial Professionals at the national, state and local levels. He authored Essentials of Treasury Management, 2nd Ed., and has conducted the CTP intensive review course at many locations in the U.S.

    Course Times: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Thursday - Friday), 8:30 am - 12:30 pm (Saturday)

    Refund Policy

    Refund Policy:
    100% refund minus a $50.00 cancellation fee for cancellations within 5 business days or less of the class start date. No refunds will be granted after the second-class meeting. Please submit registration form at least 5 days prior to the first class meeting.

    Refunds will not be given if the AFP Packet has been opened.

    A $30.00 Returned Payment Fee will be assessed on returned checks or credit cards that are declined at the University of Dallas Business Office.
