COB Centers and Institutes
Centers and Institutes at the University of Dallas network the College of Business and its students to the business community by offering essential research services and information resources.
Center for Professional Development Continuous learning is crucial in today's forward thinking organizations and is a valuable investment for future success. To accommodate the professional development needs of the business community, the Center for Professional Development (CPD) offers one-day, evening, and trimester-long seminars around the Metroplex. (Many of these courses help prepare students for professional certification or can be counted as contact hours to maintain certification.)
While professional development courses are offered to the general public, CPD can customize on-site training to accommodate the specific needs of an organization. The relevant focus and expert instruction provide a distinct advantage over many learning sessions on the market today.
Center for Entrepreneurship The purpose of the Center for Entrepreneurship is to capture and build upon the entrepreneurial energy, excitement, and creativity of current and prospective students. The Center advances the growth of entrepreneurship by providing business start-up and development guidance and advice, inclusive of franchise and not-for-profit ventures, and through its business outreach initiatives.
Center for Global Sustainability and Ethics Today's corporate leaders must balance their organization's economic goals with the need to incorporate:
- Sustainable business practice
- Society's ethical expectations
- Corporate citizenship
- Corporate social responsibility
The Center's mission is to provide best practices and real-world solutions for building, improving and maintaining sustainable operations and ethical cultures for long-term business success.
