In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Haggerty Science Center, the departments of biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics will be welcoming back distinguished alumni for a panel discussion titled "Science at UD--a look back". The panel will be held on Wednesday March 17th at 7PM in Lynch Auditorium. Our panelists will be examining the influence of the science programs at UD on their careers and individual development, and the changes in science (both at UD and beyond) that they have experienced both as students and as alumni. A flyer is attached for posting in your department.

Topic: Miltons Elusive Response to Dantes Comedy in Paradise Lost

Hollander is professor of European literature emeritus at Princeton University, where he taught for more than 40 years. The author of a dozen books on Dante and Boccaccio, he has received many awards in recognition especially of his work on Dante, including the gold medal of the city of Florence and the gold florin of the Dante Society of America.
