The Dallas MBA
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a general management degree covering both the functional areas of business (marketing, finance, human resources, etc.) and critical knowledge and skills required of managers in such areas as leadership, communication, and analysis. The MBA degree requires 37 - 49 hours of coursework. Transfers and waivers based on previous coursework may reduce the number of credit hours required. The maximum number of hours that can be waived or transferred is 12.
Core Curriculum All students must complete the 34-hour core. Classes are 3 credit hours unless otherwise specified. Classes may be taken in any order as long as prerequisites are satisfied. *Courses with prerequisites.

Electives In addition to the core curriculum, all students are required to complete 15 credit hours of electives. Students choosing an interdisciplinary MBA may choose 15 credit hours from any area. Students seeking a concentration must choose a minimum of 12 credit hours in that area and 3 credit hours in any area of their choice.
