The Dallas MBA: Project Management
Project management is a dynamic and growing field. According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), the certifying organization in the field, project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to a broad range of activities in order to meet the requirements of a particular initiative. The five basic processes examined are initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.
This concentration is designed to prepare professionals from any discipline to successfully manage complex projects across diverse environments. The curriculum builds on the guiding principles provided by the Project Management Institute (PMI) with the assumption that most students will be interested in pursuing the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exam upon completion of their graduate studies.
The University of Dallas College of Business is a PMI Global Registered Education Provider
