Welcome to the University of Dallas Student Employment web page!

Undergraduate Students

If you are a fulltime undergraduate and have a federal work study award, you are eligible to apply for an on-campus job. Jobs are generally awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Freshmen (with Work Study Awards) must attend the Student Worker Orientation Meeting on September 1, 2008 at 3:30 pm for on-campus job opportunities.

Here are the steps that all student workers need to take in order to get hired:

1. Double check the status of your Financial Aid award on BANNERweb. Make sure you have accepted your work study award. If not, contact your Financial Aid counselor.

2. Check for available on-campus student worker jobs. (This link will be updated with Fall 2008 job openings following the Student Worker Orientation meeting on September 1st.)

3. If you would like to apply for an open job, contact the student worker supervisor of that department directly. (The supervisor's name will be listed in the job posting.) Freshman will receive a list of openings at the Student Worker Orientation meeting.

4a. NEW HIRES: Please submit the following : Application for Student Employment. Freshman with work study awards may wish to submit an application for during the summer months. Your application will be forwarded to departmental supervisors, to alert them of your interest in their department. You should not, however, expect to hear back from supervisors. Your application will be for informational purposes only, until hiring begins on September 2nd.

4b.RETURNING STUDENT WORKERS: If you would like to return to an old job posting, contact the supervisor to see if he or she has any available hours to offer you. If not, consider applying in a department with a job opening.

5. New hires, please come to the human Resources Office (upstairs Carpenter) once you have been hired. Bring with you documents that will verify your identity and establish your employment eligibility.
(You can not be employed at the University of Dallas without these ORIGINAL documents. No photocopies will be accepted.)

If you are a student who does not have a work study award, you can:

1. Come by and sign up on our e-mail list for non-work study related opportunities. Once in a great while an on campus job, with its own funding, will surface. We use this e-mail list to let students know of these rare opportunities.

2. Find an off campus job. We list all known opportunities that are suitable for full-time college students on line and on our bulletin board in upstairs Carpenter.
