Student Testimonies
With no doubt I can tell that the Intensive English Program(I.E.P.) at University of Dallas is one of the best. I could tell that I learned more there than in all the years studying English at my country. Their innovative focus skill method along with their creative and dynamic group of teachers give me a perfect environment to improve my English and let me take the TOEFL exam at the end of the third month. It was marvelous!
I really suggest to anyone!

One of the best English program I had taken. I really enjoy the experience of learning a language with people around the world and sharing culture. I strongly recommend this experience.

My experience at the University of Dallas was my first and best one in this State. I came to the US on September 8th 2004, I started with the IEP on september 23rd, 2004. My first language is French, when I started the IEP program at U. Dallas, the only english I knew was "good morning, my name is Mame, and thank you very much". I started with two great listening teachers, Jennifer and Josh, a great team. They were patient and caring with us. They took the time necessary to make sure we understood everything.
Today, January 15, 2008, I already have my associates degree in science, I just started the school of nursing, going for a bachelor degree in nursing.
In this program you mix learning with fun and that was the best part of it. The movies we used to watch during listening class were great. The first time i watch "Sister Act" by Whoppie Goldbert was with Jennifer. We wrote down the lyrics of the movies and i still have those with me. That experience made me buy the movie to have something to remind me of the IEP.
The reading experiment with Jay, the writing class with Susan everything was awesome. Every now and then we would have parties such like the Thanksgiving parties where everyone had to bring some kind of food from their country, or the christmas party at Susan's house. I have the pictures and the videos to remind me of those wonderful moments.

This school is ideal not only for those who want to brush up their English for a short time but also for those who want to prepare for entering a university or graduate school in America. You will meet wonderful teachers and lots of friends from all over the world. And I can never forget the kind assistance I received from the directors and staff of the International Student Services. I still feel the school as my home because of them.

When I first started at IEP, my oral skills were good, but my writing and vocabulary skills were below the average. The University of Dallas Intensive English Program placed me in the right level of classes and my skills got improved in less than 8 weeks. The program itself is very professional; their main goal is to improve the English of non-native speakers. Instructors make sure that every student leaves the campus with success and socialized enough, regardless of their cultural backround. If anybody is looking for a serious program and wants to improve `English Language` by having fun, the University of Dallas IEP would be the right choice for you without consideration. What a great department, what a nice and friendly people.
