How do I obtain materials that are not in Blakley library?

Books and articles that are not available in this library, may be obtained by using Blakley Library's Interlibrary Loan service, ILLiad. If materials are needed immediately, the reference librarian can assist you in identifying other local libraries that have the relevant book or journal. The TexShare Card Program may be helpful when materials are needed from other libraries. Please refer to the two following FAQs for more detailed information on ILLiad and the TexShare Card Program.

How do I use ILLiad, the interlibrary loan service?

You may borrow books via Interlibrary Loan through the ILLiad system. You will need to register once in order to start an account. Thereafter, you may simply log in and provide the information for the item you need to borrow. To register, click on the ILLiad link on the Blakley Library home page and you will be guided through the registration process.

What is the TexShare Card Program?

The TexShare Card Program allows registered users of participating TexShare libraries to have direct access to library materials not available at their local library.
