Computer Science

The University of Dallas is a place where each discipline has a humanistic foundation. Our approach to the curriculum is a humane one; that is, the intellectual personality of any student should feel welcome. In mathematics, we emphasize process, visualization, critical thinking and creativity. We want faculty and students to be interested in a wide range of topics. The spirit of intellectual enterprise is implemented in the Computer Science concentration.

The CS program has its foundation in mathematics with many of the computer courses having a mathematical flavor. This sets the tone of the concentration as a mathematics discipline.
