Catholic Biblical School
What is the Catholic Biblical School?
The School of Ministry Catholic Biblical School is a four-year program of intensive study covering the entire Bible. It is Catholic in that it follows the directives of Scripture study as given in the Vatican II document, Dei Verbum (1965), and in more recent documents by the Pontifical Biblical Commission such as The Interpretation of the Bible in the Church (1993), and The Jewish People and Their Sacred Scriptures in the Christian Bible (2002). The program, which is split into 12 modules over 4 years, is designed to fit into various schedules, with online and onsite options (throughout DFW) as well as Saturday class options. Students can join the program at any module level, allowing them to complete the entire program at their own pace or only study topics of interest to them.
