We who work in parish ministry today must keep in mind the Core Work to which the parish is called. That Core Work is set for us by Christ himself, and is shared by all parishes in the Church. If we stick to it, we succeed in helping to establish the Reign of God. If we wander away from it, we find ourselves in confusion.
