The Catholic University for Independent Thinkers
Specifically designed for those who would like to serve as parish catechetical leaders, this program, which combines structured coursework and pastoral skills, culminates with a capstone project. Every student in the Religious Education program takes a set of core courses as well as courses focused specifically on the principles of religious education. These core courses include:

The MRE program also incorporates a mentoring process in which students are paired with professional ministers who provide additional support, encouragement and practical knowledge that augments and extends the classroom experience.
