Spanish Program at a Glance
Requirements beyond Intermediate Spanish II
Ten courses, of which eight must be conducted totally in Spanish. The other two can be taken, with permission from the Director of the Spanish Program, from courses offered in English in the Department of Modern Languages. Four of the ten courses are required: Advanced Spanish Composition (3324), Peninsular Spanish Literary Tradition (3317), Spanish American Literary Tradition (3318), and a senior research paper (either Senior Project or Honors Thesis). Six more courses chosen from anything offered. Comprehensive Examination.
