Announcing the 2008 National Newman Conference:
"Newman and History/Newman in History"
August 7-9th, 2008 at the University of Dallas in Irving, TX. Call for papers: Conference participants are asked to reflect upon the various theological and spiritual missions undertaken by Newman during the course of his pastoral and professional life. Some appropriate areas of consideration for presentations include: the influence of Oratorian values on Newman, his influence on the establishment of English Oratorianism, his pastoral work as an Anglican and a Catholic, and his various scholarly endeavors.

A Miracle for Cardinal Newman?
On October 17, 2005, the diocesan tribunal of Boston, Massachusets announced that it is investigating a miracle attributed to Cardinal Newman's intercession. On November 9, 2006, the diocesan level of the review process was completed and submitted to the Holy See.
