Reception for Jen Blazina: Friday December 6, 2013, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery at the University of Dallas is pleased to present an exhibition of work by two Philadelphia artists, Jen Blazina and Anda Dubinskis.
Blazina creates installations that use commonplace objects as a portal to the past, working with found materials, printed lead, video, and cast glass. Dubinskis uses drawing to explore motifs that evoke memory and experience, working on a large scale with paper, PhotoTex material, Conte Crayon, graphite and gouache. These two widely exhibited artists are both on the faculty of Drexel University.
The Haggerty Gallery located in the Art History Building of the Haggerty Arts Village on the University of Dallas campus, in Irving. The exhibition will run from November 8 until December 8, 2013.
