All degree-seeking, full-time undergraduate and Braniff students (except seminarians and non-resident aliens) are automatically enrolled in an annual student health insurance plan. Participation in accident insurance is mandatory and that charge may not be waived. However, the general health insurance charge may be waived directly with the insurance company upon successful completion of an online waiver form before the deadline date.
The deadline for submitting a health insurance waiver for the 2013-2014 academic year is midnight on September 21, 2013.
If you have successfully submitted an accepted waiver for the Fall term, then you will NOT need to complete one for the Spring term. The student health insurance waiver for the Spring term must be completed by February 8, 2014, if a student is attending the University for the first time in that term.
Please remember that failure to waive by the deadline date implies acceptance of the policy and the related charges.
