Every fall the Student Activities and Leadership Center sponsors Charity Week, an event almost as old as the University itself. Charity Week is coordinated by the junior class and meant to bring the University together while raising money to donate to national and local charities. Traditional events include, Charity Week Jail, Family Day, Male Auction, Shave-Off, KAOS, Semi-Formal, Silent Auction, Booths, and Air Band! Every year between $15,000 and $20,000 is raised through the various events and activities and distributed to various charities chosen by the Charity Week committee chaired by junior co-chairs.
This year's Charity Week is scheduled for October 6-12, 2013!
Charity Week's success is due to the many donations from students, faculty, staff, alumni, businesses, and individuals. Help us make this year's Charity Week the best yet by donating items for the silent auction, prizes for the different competition events, and monetary donations!
Contributions and donations from the community are vital to the success of Charity Week each year!
