Praxis Benefactor - Mr. and Mrs. Tim Fitzgibbons '65

We are grateful to Tim and Elvira Fitzgibbons for their generous gift of $250,000 to the University of Dallas in support of the PRAXIS program and the Center for Entrepreneurship.

Tim Fitzgibbons earned his bachelors degree in physics from the University of Dallas in 1965. He subsequently pursued and earned a Ph.D. in physics. Following his education, he successfully founded and grew his entrepreneurial venture. In 2005, he and his wife chose to share their financial blessings with his alma mater. He asked that the gift be used in support of the professional and entrepreneurial development of the liberal arts students. He also provided scholarship support for students studying in the sciences who want to pursue experience in professional and entrepreneurial ventures through PRAXIS.
